This drawing is inspired on Tim Flach's photography, "Hyacinth Macaw". Back in the 90's, the Arara Azul were one of the most endangered birds of South America. Thanks to preservation project Projeto Arara Azul, created by Neiva Guedes, the number of free species are now more than 5000.
