This illustration tells a story of someone who used show a cheerful front (colorful make up) can no longer hold it anymore as it accumulates ( tears dropping into lake of sorrow). She is now lost and depressed, eventually losing her mind, trapped in her own thoughts (tied in a forest of neurons)
