The only thing that kept us curious children away from dangerous waters, in the scorching heat of the Mediterranean summers, is the myth of the Biddrina, a dangerous serpent-dragon who lurks in shadows. With this piece, I wanted to honor the oral tradition of my mystical, magical Sicily.
